Please join Littler Mendelson for a complimentary roundtable discussion of Nevada's daily overtime requirements. The increases to the Federal and Nevada minimum wage have triggered more questions and calls from clients than ever before. Many employers that avoided daily overtime altogether by paying more than 1 1/2 times the minimum wage have found it is no longer economically viable to continue that arrangement. Many employers are unaware that daily overtime liability can arise from hours worked on different days. Through a series of hypotheticals, we will provide a basic overview of Nevada's overtime requirements with special emphasis on the nuances of daily overtime.
