On December 1, 2012 reforms and repeals to various provisions of Mexico's Federal Labor Law (FLL) became effective and significantly impacted how employers with operations in this country will be expected to deal with employment relationships, outsourcing, dismissal, back wages, payment of wages, training and productivity. Six months earlier, amendments that were made to Venezuela's Organic Labor Law and a recent presidential election are having a profound impact on the labor landscape in Latin America.

Littler attorneys will provide a clear overview of the new changes in the law, the impact they will have on your employment practices, and provide helpful advice on how to navigate the recent labor reform in Mexico and Venezuela.
