The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in June 2012 to uphold the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), coupled with the re-election of President Obama has created near certainty that the most important provisions of the ACA will need to be complied with in 2014. For this reason, the ACA presents employers with a number of critical decisions that demand immediate attention. Employers will need to be well-positioned to take action that affects their health plans this year and in 2014.

With the effective date of the employer mandate provision nearing, employers, now more than ever, need practical strategies for compliance with the new requirements, prepare for the impact of healthcare reform and evaluate impending strategic changes to employee benefit offerings.
