Claims of ADA violations filed with the EEOC have risen 60% in the last four years. The ADAAA's expanded definition of who is "disabled" will likely result in this trend continuing.

This reality means that knowing how to manage the interactive process correctly is more critical than ever. This highly interactive session is designed to equip you with the tools you need to meet this new reality. We will examine case studies culled from actual situations dealing with four key phases of the ADA compliance process, including:

  • Accommodations in the hiring process
  • Direct threat or abusive behavior caused by a disability
  • Accommodation issues related to modified job duties and/or leave
  • Termination of an employee who is no longer a "qualified individual" due to a degenerative disability
