Littler

What is Bollo?

The name Bollo comes from the Wolof tribe of Senegal, Africa meaning “to be together."  At Littler, Bollo members work together to create strategies for succeeding at the firm, including skill enhancement, business development, and mentoring opportunities. Their initiatives include supporting associate talent development, increasing diversity recruiting efforts and developing career advancement strategies.

One of Bollo’s greatest strengths is its members’ involvement in local and national professional organizations.  The experiences garnered are both beneficial to the individual and firm, as members build new relationships and further develop their skill sets.

Recognition

Jaffe Dickerson, shareholder in Littler’s Los Angeles office, received the Compton Unified School District Education Foundation’s (CEF) 2010 “Public Service Award”. The Compton Education Foundation is a non-profit corporation established in 2003 to raise funds for all 39 Compton public schools serving approximately 28,000 students. CEF supports learning opportunities through educational enhancements that strengthen local creativity, wellness, and academic excellence. These efforts help achieve a broader mandate for educational access, equity and excellence.
