Biography

Ms. Hrubos represents and counsels management clients in all aspects of labor and employment law. She aggressively defends clients against allegations of sexual harassment, disability discrimination, Family and Medical Leave Act violations, age discrimination, and other claims arising under federal, state and local law.

Ms. Hrubos also advises management on a broad range of employment law matters, including wage and hour compliance, personnel policies and procedures, and diversity initiatives.

During law school, Ms. Hrubos participated in Temple's LGBT Law Clinical at Equality Advocates Pennsylvania where she helped low-income transgender and gender variant people obtain legal name changes and correct their identity documents. For her work, the organization honored her with its Sara Weaver Volunteer of the Year Award.

Publications

Ms. Hrubos speaks and writes on preventing discrimination and harassment and implementing best practices in the workplace. Most recently, she presented "Creating a Trans-Friendly Work Environment" at the 2010 Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference.

Ms. Hrubos frequently contributes to Upon Further Review, an online publication of the Philadelphia Bar Association and has authored several law review articles on employment law topics.
