Biography
Mr. Ankers’ depth of experience consists of counseling and representing employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters. He has defended employment lawsuits and administrative claims in various courts and administrative agencies throughout the United States, conducted employment law training and seminars and provided advice and counsel on traditional labor law issues, including union avoidance, organizing and collective bargaining. His practice is highly focused on policy drafting and review, corporate governance and litigation avoidance. Prior to joining Littler, Mr. Ankers was a partner at the Detroit office of Dickinson Wright, where he practiced exclusively management-side labor and employment law. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer on the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Hiring and Discipline and Union Avoidance and Organizing.
