Biography
Ms. Lalik's practice focuses exclusively on labor and employment law, with particular emphasis on litigation of employment-related disputes involving discrimination/harassment claims, sales commission issues, non-compete/non-solicitation/trade secret claims and wage and hour issues.
Ms. Lalik works with employers in a wide range of industries, including publishing/media, technology, health care, consulting, banking, telecommunications, retail, education and local governmental authorities. She has represented clients in multi-plaintiff sex discrimination and harassment and reduction-in-force cases throughout the country and has tried several significant cases before federal and state court juries, obtaining wins by both judge and jury verdict.
Beyond litigation, Ms. Lalik counsels clients on all facets of the employer-employee relationship and has represented clients with respect to complex U.S. Department of Labor wage and hour audits. She has handled multiple arbitration matters, including matters appealed to the federal and state courts in the Western United States.
