Biography

Mr. Murdock has represented employers with respect to labor and employment law matters for over 30 years.  His practice includes a focus on the exclusive representation of employers in nationwide and other class actions, collective actions, pattern and practice actions, and individual actions arising under the ADA, Title VII, the ADEA, 42 U.S.C. Section 1981, the Illinois Human Rights Act, the NLRA, the FLSA, the Equal Pay Act, ERISA(including MEPPA) and numerous additional statutes.  He has counseled and represented clients in litigation regarding federal and state wage and hour laws, non-competition agreements and matters related to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.  Mr. Murdock also has an active traditional labor law practice which includes numerous labor arbitrations, collective bargaining and extensive practice before the National Labor Relations Board in representation and unfair labor practice areas.  He has actively represented employers in attempting to achieve legislative and regulatory reform before the United States Congress, the EEOC and the United States Department of Labor.  Mr. Murdock has successfully litigated throughout the United States.  During his in-house tenure, he advised management on international labor and employment law issues and successfully litigated a number of labor and employment matters in Canada.
