Biography
Mr. Martin focuses his practice on representing management in myriad employment matters. Mr. Martin's extensive litigation experience includes representing employers of practically all sizes and industries in an even wider range of matters before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission on Human Relations. In addition to litigation, Mr. Martin counsels employers on preventive strategies for minimizing potential litigation and on the development of polices for the promotion of constructive employee relations. He advises employers on day-to-day personnel matters, and emphasizes the importance of striking the correct balance between the business and legal issues that arise in human resources decisions. Prior to joining Littler, Mr. Martin represented management in employment law matters at another large national firm and while he served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida.
