Biography
Mr. Susser serves as Chair of Littler Mendelson's International Employment and Labor Law Practice Group. He works with global employers regarding the design and implementation of human resources policies, as well as a broad range of workplace issues.
Domestically, Mr. Susser regularly handles the defense of discrimination and harassment claims, traditional labor law matters (e.g., union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practice litigation and labor arbitrations) and a wide variety of occupational safety and health issues, including OSHA compliance/litigation and emergency preparedness programs, as well as disability discrimination and protected leave issues. He serves as counsel to several national trade associations on employment law and workplace safety & health matters, including involvement in legislative developments as a registered lobbyist in the U.S. Congress and participation in rulemaking proceedings before Federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Labor.
Mr. Susser also serves as a member of Littler's Firm-wide Management Committee.

Mr. Susser has published dozens of articles on a wide range of employment law and workplace safety issues that have appeared in legal journals, human resources publications and trade journals. He also is the author of several employment law treatises, including The Family and Medical Leave Handbook (Thompson Publishing Group, Washington, D.C., 1993, 2007), Disability Discrimination and the Workplace (BNA Books, Washington, D.C., 2005) and State and Local Government Employment Law and Practices Handbook (Sheshunoff Publications, Austin, TX, 1997, 2007).
